Wraysbury Flood; politicians PR.

This morning Tory Defence Secretary Hammond visited the village - there are 1600 troops 'ready if needed', the minister said that Police 'Gold command' had not requested help.

Well, here's our shopping list Minister;

There is widespread looting - three cars were broken into in the village last night. We need a regular police presence to deter burglars and looters prowling around, or do we have to do that as well?

We need 30,000 sand bags - ten per house. Here on Staines road the houses on the river side are in immediate danger, those on our side less so. When the flood has happened its too late.

People need to be contacted - many people here are elderly or infirm and actually need help making houses safe etc.

People will need help before the flood, when electricity and water goes off.

That's enough to be going on with.

  2. Again, anyone can put comments up here so I'll just repeat what I've said before - there are many loss adjusters and you should shop around for the best deal if you need one.
